SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On July 22nd 2017, at 1454 hours, a member of the Vermont State Police attempted to stop Kevin Cook on Ballard Road in the town of Georgia due to a motor vehicle violation. As a result, a motor vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ultimately ended when Cook was taken into custody by Troopers approximately one mile north of the location of the original attempted stop. Cook was subsequently charged with Driving While License Suspended, Attempting to Elude, Careless and Negligent Operation, Trespass by Motor Vehicle, and Resisting Arrest. Cook was lodged at the Northwest Correction Facility and ordered to appear in Franklin Superior Court on July 24th 2017 in order to face the aforementioned charges.
