SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 07/09/17 at approximately 2250 hrs the Vermont State Police responded to Paran Road near Lake Drive in Shaftsbury VT for a report of a single vehicle crash.  Police located a 2008 Subaru Legacy parked in the roadway on Paran Road.  The vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper, hood, windshield, three tires and the rear bumper. 

 

The operator, Devin Briggs was present and reported no injury.  The investigation revealed that Briggs was traveling too fast for a sharp curve and lost control of his vehicle.  The vehicle slid off the roadway and collided with fencing and a tree of a nearby home, causing damage. No injuries were reported.

 

The vehicle was towed from the scene due to damage from the crash.  Briggs was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for driving too fast for road conditions.
