SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On July 1st 2017 at 1108 hours, the Vermont State Police responded to a two car crash on VT RT 313 at the intersection with Warm Brook Rd in the Town of Arlington. When police arrived at scene they observed a 2011 Toyota Avalon with extensive front end damage.  The operator was identified as Christine Draffin of Arlington VT.  The other vehicle involved was a 2004 Ford Expedition with driver side damage. The operator of the other vehicle was identified as Crystal Washington of Pittsfield MA.  Both operators were wearing their seatbelts.  Washington was not injured,  Draffin suffered a small superficial cut on her finger during the crash.  

 

Police learned that Draffin entered the intersection of VT RT 313 from Warmbrook Rd into the path of Washington. Washington was driving east on VT RT 313.  Draffin collided with the driver side of Washington’s vehicle. Draffin was issued a ticket for failing to yield when entering an intersection.  Washington was also issued a ticket for operating with a suspended license.
