SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 07/27/17 the Vermont State Police responded to an active family fight on Cider Mill Road in Shaftsbury VT.  Upon arrival police located Jay Burdick in the driveway of the home.  Burdick was combative with police, refused commands and assaulted a trooper on scene.  Burdick resisted arrested and was taken into custody.  An investigation revealed that Burdick assaulted a household member.  Burdick was charged with Domestic Assault, Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest.
