SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On 07/16/17, at approximately 2205 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to 237 Chittenden Road in the Town of Chittenden for a report of a vandalism to property and to serve court ordered paperwork.  While investigating the vandalism and serving the paperwork, Troopers observed 9 marijuana plants of various sizes, on the rear porch of the residence.  Thomas Asma was subsequently arrest for cultivating marijuana and vandalism.  He was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court at a later date and released.
