SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On July 7, 2017, at approximately 1552 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks were notified of a single motor vehicle crash in the area of 86 West Road, North Chittenden, Vermont.

Initial investigation revealed that vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on West Road. Operator #1 (Mar) fell asleep wheel driving and exited the west side of the roadway striking a tree with the front left portion of the vehicle.

Operator #1 (Mar) was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center by Regional Ambulance Service for minor injuries.

The Vermont State Police were assisted by Chittenden Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service. Executive Towing removed the vehicle from the roadway.
