SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On July 18, 2017, at approximately 4:24 PM, Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a motorcycles crash located on Hitchcock Road, Chittenden.

 

Through investigation is was learned Kehoe was traveling east on Hitchcock Road.  Kehoe lost control of his motorcycle and traveled off the south side of Hitchcock Road.  Once off the roadway the motorcycle overturned resulting in Kehoe being thrown from the motorcycle.

 

Kehoe was transported from the Scene to the Rutland Regional Medical Center.  Kehoe sustained serious internal injuries, as well as serious injuries to his lower extremities.

 

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Pittsford Volunteer Fire Department, Pittsford First Response, Rutland Regional Ambulance Service and the Pittsford Police Department.

 

Neither speed or impaired operation appear to be factors in this crash.  Kehoe was wearing an approved helmet at the time of the crash.
