SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On July 28, 2017 at approximately 0053 hours, the Vermont State Police were contacted by Michelle Doyon via VT 911. Doyon reported she had become lost while driving between Ithica, NY and St. Johnsbury, VT. 911 dispatchers were able to determine she was on US Route 4 in the Town of Killington. Troopers from the Rutland barracks responded to check on and assist Doyon. Upon arrival, troopers determined Doyon had been operating a vehicle while under the influence. Doyon was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks. She was processed for DUI and later released to a sober party. Doyon was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 14, 2017 to answer to the charges of DUI –Influence, and DUI –Criminal Refusal.
