SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

 

On July 09, 2017, at approximately 1337 hours, members of the Vermont State Police assigned to the Rutland Barracks, were notified of an active family disturbance taking place on Pleasant St, Clarendon, Vermont. Prior to the Trooper’s arrival one party involved left the scene. The complainant, reported being assaulted by a family member. Troopers observed physical evidence supporting the victim’s report. Further investigation, which included several interviews, lead Troopers to Sarah Taylor. Taylor was subsequently taken into custody for Domestic Assault, and transported to the State Police Barracks in Rutland. Taylor was released after being issued court ordered conditions of released which included appearing before the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, on July 10, 2017 at 1230 hours.
