SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On July 11, 2017 at approximately 2200 hours, troopers with the Vermont State Police –Rutland barracks were approached by a citizen at Cumberland Farms, located at 212 S. Main Street in Rutland City, regarding a minor property damage crash in the parking lot. One of the parties involved was identified as Justin A. Gee. It was determined that while unoccupied, Gee's vehicle rolled into another vehicle in the parking lot, causing minor damage. During the course of the investigation, troopers learned Gee had driven to Cumberland Farms from his residence in the Town of Proctor. Gee's privilege to operate a motor vehicle was suspended and Gee had conditions of release from criminal court which prohibited him from operating a motor vehicle.

 

Subsequently, Gee was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on July 13, 2017 at 1230 hours to answer to the charge of Operation after suspension of license, and Violation of conditions of release. Gee was then released.
