SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

The Vermont State Police responded to the area of I-91 north near mile 73 in the

Town of Hartford for a two car hit and run accident.  The operator of vehicle #2

and her two passengers were transported to DHMC just to be checked.

Investigation showed that operator #1, Philip Paquette, was traveling north on

I-91 behind vehicle #2 and ran into the rear of vehicle #2.  Paquette admitted

that he ran into the rear of vehicle #2 and got out to see if there was any

damage.  Paquette said that he did not see any damage and told the operator that

he was late for work and left the scene without giving any information.

Paquette was issued a criminal citation for Accident, Duty to stop (Leaving the

scene of an accident) to appear in Windsor Superior Court on September 26, 2017

at 0800 hrs to answer to the charge.  Paquette was also issued a VCVC for

operating without a license, a violation of T-23 section 601.
