INCIDENT LOCATION: I-89 northbound, MM 7.5, Hartford

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a sinkhole reported on I-89 northbound in Hartford. Traffic on I-89 northbound is currently being detoured off of exit 1 (Hartford) and back on at exit 2 (Sharon). VT AOT is currently assessing the cause of the sinkhole. An additional press release will be issued when further information becomes available.
