LOCATION: RT. 5 Rockingham, VT

 

VEHICLE #1

OPERATOR: Erin Squire

AGE: 32 years old   

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Springfield, VT

DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE: 2013 Nissan Altima 

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: grill, bumper, hood, under carriage

INJURIES: Erin Squire sustained injuries in the crash.

WEATHER: Warm, Clear

ROAD COND: Dry, Blacktop

 

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On July 4th, 2017 at approximately 3:24 P.M. Troopers with the VT State Police responded to a single motor vehicle crash with minor injuries on RT. 5 in Rockingham. The vehicle involved was traveling north on RT. 5 when it left its’ lane of travel, eventually striking a utility pole on the east side of the road. The operator of the vehicle, Squire, was transported to Springfield Hospital, while the juvenile in the vehicle was unharmed. Rockingham Rescue and Fire aided on scene and Green Mountain Power will be replacing the damaged utility pole.
