SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On July 1, 2017, at approximately 1342 hours, State Police were notified of a two-motor vehicle collision on VT Route 22A in the Town of Bridport. Upon arrival Operator # 1 was identified as Steven Kaplowitz and Operator #2 was identified as Richard Denett Jr. Investigation revealed that OP #1 was traveling South on VT Route 22A as OP #2 was traveling North. OP #2 was stopped partially in the Southbound lane while making a turn when the collision occurred, causing the initial impact. Neither alcohol nor drugs were determined to be contributing factors in the collision.
