INCIDENT LOCATION: US Route 7 at Town Hill Road, New Haven

VIOLATION: Excessive Speed

 

ACCUSED: Ryan Schembeck                                              

AGE: 26

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Brandon VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/02/17 at approximately 1825 hours Vermont State Police observed a vehicle traveling southbound on US Route 7 near Town Hill Road in the Town of New Haven at a high rate of speed.  Upon activating a radar unit, the vehicle was recorded traveling 105 mph in a posted 50 mph speed limit zone.

 

A motor vehicle stop was conducted and the operator, Ryan Schembeck, advised he knew he was speeding and was subsequently arrested for the violation of Excessive Speed.  Schembeck was processed at the New Haven Barracks for this offense and then released on a citation.
