SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 7/5/2017 at approximately 0136 hours Vermont State Police from the Middlesex Barracks were notified of a two vehicle head-on collision, with injuries, near 790 Vermont Route 14S, East Montpelier. Troopers arrived on scene and discovered both vehicles had major damage.

 

Samuel Fleurrey provided a statement that he was traveling south on Vermont Route 14S when he crashed into Vehicle #2. Fleurrey was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for minor injuries. Fleurrey is being investigated for suspicion of DUI.

 

Angela Boomer had to be extracted from her vehicle and was unable to provide a statement. She was initially transported to Central Vermont Medical Center and subsequently to UVM Medical Center for numerous significant injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

 

There were no other vehicles or passengers involved. A section of Vermont Route 14S was shut down to through traffic, but has been reopened.

 

This crash is still under investigation.
