SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On the above date and time the Vermont State Police responded to Kinney Drugs located at 957 Memorial Dr. in the Town of St. Johnsbury for an attempted larceny. Investigation revealed that Amanda Brooks (26) and Brian Hanson (62) had locked up the store for the night and were walking to their vehicles when a subject ran up to them and demanded the store's nightly deposit. When Brooks and Hanson told the subject they did not have any money the subject fled on foot. The subject was described as a tall slender white male, approximately 6'1", wearing a white or gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a black balaclava, and jeans. The suspect was not located the night of the incident. Attached to this release is a screen shot from the store surveillance video.
