CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Derby, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/06/2017 at 1920 hours, members of the State Police and Orleans County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of an intoxicated male threatening patrons at the Troy General Store. Investigation revealed that Stephen Heath was under the influence of alcohol, which was a violation of his conditions of release from 06/01/2017. It was also discovered that Heath was engaging in violent and threatening behavior in a public area. Heath was subsequently placed under arrest. While in custody Heath made two attempts to assault members of the State Police. Heath was lodged at Northern State Correctional facility for lack of $1000.00 bail.
