SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 7/2/2017 at approximately 1845 hours, State Police responded to VT RT 102 by the intersection of Schoolhouse Road in the town of Bloomfield, VT for a report of a 2 vehicle motor vehicle crash with several injuries. Upon State Police arrival, 3 patients had been transported to local hospitals. Investigation revealed April Moore was traveling north on VT RT 102 in a 2012 Suzuki at approximately 30mph and attempted to turn into a driveway by Schoolhouse Road. Moore failed to see a vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, traveling south on VT RT 102 being operated by Nick Smith. Moore’s vehicle collided head on with Smith’s vehicle in the south bound lane. Airbags were deployed in both vehicles. Smith was transported to Connecticut Valley via Ambulance with minor injuries. A pregnant female was transported to Littleton Regional Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. Moore was transported by private vehicle to Connecticut Valley with minor injuries. Both vehicles received significant damage as a result of the crash and were towed by Ray’s Auto out of Newport, VT.
