SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On June 17, 2017 at approximately 1528 hours Vermont State Troopers along with State Game Wardens responded to a report of a two vehicle crash on VT Rt. 104 in Cambridge. Initial investigation revealed vehicle #1 a Ford Ranger operated by 64 year old Daniel Demay of Jeffersonville was traveling west on VT Rt. 104 when he intended to make a left turn into a driveway. Demay observed the driveway was closed and being blocked by iron gates which caused him to then re-enter the westbound travel lane of VT Rt. 104. Upon doing so, vehicle #1 struck vehicle #2 a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 61 year old Donald Chicoine of Winooski. Donald and his passenger 61 year old Ann Chicoine of Winooski were thrown from the motorcycle. Both operator #2 Donald, and passenger Ann were transported via ambulance to UVMC for non-incapacitating injuries. This crash is still under investigation.
