VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence - #4 (Test Refusal), Driving License Suspended, Violations of Conditions of Release, Possession of a Regulated Drug, Operating without Owners Consent, False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer.

 

ACCUSED: Jesse D. Perry

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On June 6th, 2017 at approximately 1540 hours, Vermont State Police received a report of a vehicle operating erratically traveling southbound on Interstate 89 in the city of South Burlington.  Vermont State Police were able to locate the vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the town of Williston after observing motor vehicle violations. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jesse D. Perry, age 54 of Cambridge.

 

During the course of the investigation, Perry displayed signs of impairment, and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence. Perry was also charged with operating with a criminally suspended license, violation of court conditions of release, and possession of a regulated drug. Perry was transported to the Williston Barracks where he was processed for DUI. Perry was remanded to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility until sober. Perry is due to appear in Chittenden Superior Court Criminal Division on June 5th, 2017 at 1030 hours.
