Injuries: Several injuries to leg, pelvis, shoulder and head.

 

 

 

 

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 06/26/2017 at approximately 1545 hours Vermont State Police were dispatched to a one car motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the area of 25 Main Street in the Village of Saxtons River. Upon arrival the injured pedestrian was alert and conscious and being treated by EMS personnel. Preliminary investigation revealed the injured pedestrian was crossing the street when he was struck by vehicle #1. According to operator #1 he was travelling at approximately 10 miles per hour and did not see the pedestrian prior to striking him. The injured pedestrian was later transported to Springfield hospital by Golden Cross Ambulance before being transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
