LOCATION: Interstate 91 north near mile marker 36 in the Town of Rockingham

VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence

 

ACCUSED:  John Perras                                              

AGE: 53

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Tolland, Connecticut

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On June 1, 2017, at approximately 9:34 P.M., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 in the Town of Rockingham. Investigation revealed that the operator, John Perras, was operating his motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. Perras was arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing. Perras was then transported to Southern State Correctional Facility, where he was held on conditions. Perras was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date.
