VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence #2

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Townshend, Vermont

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On June 14, 2017, at approximately 6:44 P.M., the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Vermont Route 121 in the Town of Grafton. Investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Douglas Bassett, was under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the crash. Bassett was transported to Grace Cottage Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash. Bassett was discharged from the hospital and transported to the Westminster Barracks, where he was fingerprinted, photographed, and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge of DUI #2.
