SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 06-25-17 at approximately 02:55 pm, Andrew Martin contacted the state police because he struck a mile marker sign on Interstate 91 south by mile marker 2.60.  Upon arrival, it was determined that a second vehicle carrying a Thule container failed to secure it to their vehicle properly.  As a result the Thule rack fell off and tumbled on the Interstate.  Martin attempted to avoid the Thule container by entering into the shoulder but ultimately struck a mile marker causing significant damage to his vehicle.  There were no injuries as a result of this crash.  The owner of the Thule rack was issued a ticket for an unsecured load.
