DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE: 2014 Subaru Crosstrek

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: Moderate damage to hood, front bumper, grill, passenger side front fender and headlight assembly.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:  On 06/10/2017 at approximately 0640 hours, Troopers from the VSP Westminster barracks were dispatched to the report of a single vehicle crash into a tree on River Road in Newfane. Upon the arrival of Troopers, it was determined that vehicle #1, a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Morris was traveling southbound on River Road. As Morris proceeded southbound he came upon a large tree and wires that were down completely blocking the roadway. Morris was unable to stop and crashed into the tree. Morris vehicle was towed from the scene by Affordable Towing. Newbrook Fire and Green Mountain Power assisted at the scene.
