SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 06/02/17, at 1457 hours, the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury received a

report of a single, motor vehicle collision involving a moose. This incident occurred on the Peacham-Danville Rd., in the Town of Peacham, VT.

 

Operator Jeffrey Machell was traveling north on the Peacham-Danville Rd. near Bayley Hazen Rd., when he struck the moose. The moose ran off into the woods and could not be located. The Vermont Fish and Game and Peacham Fire Department provided assistance at the scene. No injuries reported and Machell's vehicle sustained moderate damage.
