SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On June 27, 2017 at approximately 1241 hours, State Police received a larceny case from Main Street in Fairfax. Complainant, Kenneth Grey (age 37), had asked a neighbor to assist in moving junk/trash out of his residence, and items turned up missing. Apparently, the neighbor hired two males by the names of Joseph Goodroe (age 25) and Timothy Loiselle (age 27) to assist. While Goodroe and Loiselle were at the residence, they entered and stole multiple items. These included a television, an infrared heater, and a power drill.

When first confronted, the television and heater were returned, but the drill was still missing. State Police caught up with both males and the drill was located and returned to Grey. Both males were charged with larceny and ordered to appear in VT Superior Court to answer to that charge.

No further action at this time.
