INCIDENT LOCATION: VT Route 104A @ VT Route 104, Fairfax

VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence #1

 

ACCUSED: James P. Hughes                                               

AGE: 29

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Colchester, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On June 24th, 2017 at approximately 0130 hours, Vermont State Police St. Albans affected a motor vehicle stop on VT Route 104A in the town of Fairfax after observing multiple moving violations.

 

Subsequent investigation revealed the operator and defendant James P. Hughes (age 29) of Colchester to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

 

Hughes was arrested and transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing. At the conclusion of processing Hughes was released with a citation to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court on July 10th, 2017 to answer the charge of Driving Under the Influence (DUI #1).
