VIOLATION: DUI

 

ACCUSED: Joshua Bishop

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Shaftsbury, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On June 20th, 2017 at approximately 2142  hours, The Vermont State Police – Shaftsbury Barracks were dispatched to a vehicle that had traveled off the roadway and had struck a telephone pole on Town Line Road in Bennington, Vermont. The operator was identified as Joshua Bishop (age 27). Investigation revealed that Bishop was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and was screened for DUI. Bishop was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks, where he was processed for suspicion of DUI. Bishop was later released on citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on July 10th, 2017 at 0815 hours.
