SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 6/13/17 State Police were notified of two vehicles driving aggressively passing each other travelling towards Bethel on VT 107.  A short time later State Police received a 911 call about a possible fight on Peavine Blvd in Bethel between a male and female in two cars.  Troopers responded to the area and located Joseph Tomasetto driving a white Ford form the earlier motor vehicle complaint.  Troopers also located a female driving a gold Audi from the same earlier motor vehicle complaint.  Investigation revealed that Joseph had driven after the female in an attempt to regain custody of a family pet.  Information provided by the victim indicated an assault had occurred prior to the motor vehicle complaint.  Information gathered during the investigation resulted in Joseph being arrested for Negligent Operation, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Mischief, and Domestic Assault.  Joseph was processed at the Royalton Barracks and released on a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court Criminal Division on 6/14/17 at 1230 PM.
