SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On June 24, 2017 at approximately 1225 hours Troopers from the New Haven

Barracks were dispatched to a one car motor vehicle crash on Lower Hardscrabble

Road. Upon further investigation it was determined that the operator Calista

Sargent was traveling south at a speed of approximately 35-40 MPH. According to

statements made by Sargent she struck several potholes causing her to lose

control of the vehicle. As a result the vehicle left the roadway, overturned and

struck several bushes nearby. Sargent was transported to Porter Hospital as a

precaution.

 

The Vermont State Police were assisted by Bristol Rescue Squad, and Monkton Fire

Department.
