SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

                On 6-15-17, at approximately 0950 hours, Vermont State Police in Middlesex were notified of a two-vehicle collision on Vermont Route 100 in Duxbury, Vermont. Initial investigation shows that a 2011 Honda CRV, operated by Karen Fleming, was traveling northbound on Vermont Route 100 when it crossed the center line of the roadway and collided with a 2013 Ford Truck, which was traveling southbound on Vermont Route 100, which was being operated by Emily Senesac.

                Point of impact in this collision was the front end/driver’s side quarter panel of Fleming’s vehicle colliding with the front end/driver’s side quarter panel of Senesac’s vehicle. Fleming sustained fatal injuries from the collision and Senesac was not injured.

                Vermont Route 100 was shut down for several hours while Troopers and Ambulance crews dealt with the scene. The collision is still under investigation.
