SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 6/13/2017 State Police were notified that Ivan Lanoue had violated his conditions of release by going to a residence belonging to the victim. Investigation revealed Lanoue had gone to the victim’s residence at approximately 0800 hours in an attempt to obtain belongings and speak with the victim. The victim reported Lanoue had advised friends were going to the residence to obtain his belongings, however when the victim looked out the window of the residence, Lanoue was walking around the perimeter of the residence toward the victim’s bedroom window. In an attempt to speak with the victim, Lanoue began pounding on the victim’s bedroom window demanding to speak with the victim and to obtain his belongings. The victim told Lanoue to leave however he refused. Lanoue then became upset the victim would not let him in the residence and he subsequently broke the window. Lanoue has previous conditions of release preventing him from contact with the victim.

 

Lanoue was lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility on a violation of his probation as well as received a flash citation to appear in Orleans County Court on 6/14/2017 at 0830 hours.
