SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 06-14-17 at approximately 1420 hours, VSP-Derby barracks was notified of a

crash that had occurred on King Farm Road in the vicinity of 1051 in the Town of

Craftsbury.  Kane advised that he had activated his left turn signal and had

slowed down to about 10 mph in order to turn into a driveway.  Kane advised that

the vehicle that had been traveling behind him, which appeared to be an older

model white Subaru station wagon with loud exhaust, attempted to pass him, just

as Kane began turning left.  The white Subaru struck Kane's vehicle  in the

driver's side front fender and tore the front bumper off.  After the white

Subaru struck Kane's vehicle, the operator of the Subaru took off without

stopping.  The white Subaru station wagon would have sustained damage to the

right front passenger side area.  Anyone with any information regarding the owner

and/or operator of this white Subaru is asked to contact Corporal Amy LeClair at

VSP-Derby Barracks at 802-334-8881.
