SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On June 6th, 2017, at approximately 1523 hours, Troopers at the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks were notified of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Business Route 4 and Boardman Hill Road in the Town of West Rutland, Vermont.

Initial investigation revealed that vehicle #2 was traveling southbound through the four-way intersection on Business Route 4, to merge onto US Route 4. Vehicle #1 was traveling east on Business Route 4 through the four-way intersection. Vehicle #1 disregarded the red light and continued traveling east through the intersection. Vehicle #2 proceeded through the intersection when the traffic light was green, and struck Vehicle #1. Operator #2 reported injuries and was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for further evaluation. Vehicle #1 is at fault for this crash.
