SUMMARY OF CRASH: On May 29, 2017 at approximately 0933 hours VT State Police Williston Troopers responded to Interstate 89 in Colchester for the report of an unknown injury rollover motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival Troopers found that Operator#1 Matthew A. Sherman of Milton VT lost control of his car and traveled off the west side of the interstate where it rolled. Neither speed or impairment were contributing factors. Distracted driving was a contributing factor. Colchester Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene of the collision. Sherman, who was seat belted in his vehicle sustained only minor non-incapacitating injuries. Sherman was issued a VCVC  roadside $220 and 3 points for failing to maintain control.
