SUMMARY OF CRASH: On May 14, 2017 at approximately 1912 hours Vermont State Troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover with entrapment on Westman Road near box #1110 in the Town of Cambridge. Initial investigation revealed the vehicle had drifted off the eastern shoulder of the roadway and into a roadside ditch before rolling onto the driver’s side. The operator of the vehicle, 73 year old Richard Norman of Cambridge, was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Investigation is ongoing, but Troopers believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. Charges are pending based on the results of a blood test administered by the Vermont Forensic Laboratory.
