SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 5/3/2017 at approximately 0236 hours Vermont State Police were advised of a

two vehicle crash on Interstate 189W. The operator of Vehicle #1, was said to

have left the scene on foot. South Burlington Police and Fire Department

responded to the scene to assist.

 

South Burlington Police were able to locate the operator of Vehicle #1 in a

nearby neighborhood. The operator was identified as Kenyon Desranleau of Milton.

Desranleau showed signs of impairment while speaking with first responders.

Desranleau was then transported to the University of Vermont Emergency

Department (UVMC) for further evaluation of his injuries.

 

Further investigation found Desranleau to have a criminally suspended license

and in violation of conditions of release. Desranleau was processed for DUI at

UVMC and charges are pending the blood test results.

 

The occupants of Vehicle #2 were transported to the University of Vermont

Emergency Department for non-incapacitating influence.

 

The crash is still under investigation at this time.

CHARGES: Driving License Suspended, Leaving the scene of an accident, false
