INCIDENT LOCATION: Interstate 89N mile marker 88 in South Burlington

VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence #2

 

ACCUSED: Walter Pretty III                                             

AGE: 46

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Colchester, VT

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 5/4/2017 at approximately 1930 hours Vermont State Police Troopers conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. The operator of the vehicle, Walter Pretty III, showed signs of impairment. Further investigation found Pretty to be under the influence of alcohol. Pretty was arrested and later released on a citation after being processed at the Vermont State Police Barracks. Pretty will appear before the Chittenden County Superior Court for the charge of Driving Under the Influence #2 on 5/25/2017 in Burlington.
