SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 05/24/17 at approximately 9:22 pm, a member of the Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle on Interstate 91 north, in the area of mile marker 15, for a motor vehicle violation. It was learned that the vehicle was being operated by Jessica Zelle, age 23 of Newton MA. Investigation revealed that Zelle was operating under the influence of alcohol, and subsequently administered the Standard Field Sobriety Exercises. Based on the exercises, Zelle was arrested for DUI and transported to the Westminster State Police barracks for processing. Zelle was issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division on 06/06/17 to answer to the charge of DUI.
