CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Stowe VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 05-27-17 at approximately 1041 hours, the Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle on Interstate 91 north near exit 1 for a motor vehicle infraction.  The operator Dylan Bishop of Hyde Park reported inconstancies of where he travelled to and admitted to possessing a small amount of marijuana.  During the investigation it was also found that his occupant Michael C. Hammond also possessed narcotics.  After searching the vehicle a misdemeanor level of cocaine was found where Hammond was seated.  Hammond was subsequently arrested and processed at the Westminster Barracks for Possession of Cocaine (less than 2.5 grams).  Hammond was Cited and released to appear in Superior Court.
