SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: During the spring of 2017, Detectives from the Vermont Drug Task Force began an investigation into the sale of cocaine from the Mountainside Tattoo and Piercing Shop in Bellows Falls. Detectives were able to conduct controlled purchases of cocaine from the Shop’s owner, Alexander Lawrence, and his girlfriend, Samantha Landry, during business hours. On May 12th 2017 Detectives executed a search warrant on the business and located two handguns, a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, butane hash oil, and a small indoor marijuana grow in the rear of the business. Lawrence and Landry were both arrested and processed at the Vermont State Police Barracks in Westminster and released on criminal citations to appear at the Windham Superior Court of Vermont, Criminal Division on the dates and times noted above.
