Traffic alert – US Route 302 blocked in Berlin

Press Release – Highway / Traffic Notification

 

US Route 302, known locally as the Barre-Montpelier Road, is blocked and closed to traffic due to a vehicle crash near the intersection of Ames Drive (Berlin Pricechopper).

 

The Berlin Police, with the assistance of the Vermont State Police, are investigating the crash.  Currently, no details on the crash are available, and there's no estimate on when the roadway will be reopened.

 

Motorists should expect delays in the area, or seek alternate routes. Please call 511 for road conditions and drive carefully.
