SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 05-05-2017 the Vermont State Police and the Northwest Unit for Special Investigations were notified and investigated a violation of conditions of release that occurred on 04-15-2017 in St. Albans, VT.

 

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that 33 year-old Josie Spears initiated conversation with a young juvenile male under the age of 16 years old.  This was a direct violation of Spears’ conditions of release.  This new incident stems from the current ongoing investigation which Spears has been charged with numerous offenses (VSP case #17A200917).

 

On 05-16-2017 the Vermont State Police arrested Spears at the VSP-St. Albans Barracks in St. Albans, VT for processing.  Spears was fingerprinted and photographed.  Spears was cited into the Franklin Superior Court, Criminal Division, for 05-18-2017 at 1100 hours.
