SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On May 25th, 2017, Troopers with the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a report of two individuals with a dog hitchhiking on Lynburke Rd and walking into traffic. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the individuals identified as Christopher Coughlin (37) and Heather Megaro (37) had stolen a vehicle from Seth’s Auto and were attempting to hitchhike after it broke down. Investigation later revealed that Coughlin was operating the vehicle before it broke down. After being taken into custody, other stolen property was found in Megaro’s belongings.
