SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On May 26th 2017, at 1647 the Vermont State Police were notified of a single vehicle crash on Sweet Hollow Road in the town of Swanton. Upon the arrival of Troopers, it was discovered the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle involved was deceased. The operator was later identified as Justin Cook of St. Albans. Investigation revealed the vehicle being operated by Cook left the roadway off the southbound lane while travelling North on Sweet Hollow Road. As a result of leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck a tree along the edge of the southbound lane and came to a position of uncontrolled rest. Investigation is ongoing.
