INCIDENT LOCATION: I-89 Northbound @ mile marker 121.8

VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence

 

ACCUSED: Amanda LaRose                                               

AGE: 26

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Alburg, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 27th, 2017 at approximately 2355 hours Vermont State Police St. Albans affected a motor vehicle stop on I-89 Northbound in the area of mile marker 121 (Swanton) after observing several moving violations.

 

Subsequent investigation revealed that the operator Amanda LaRose (age 26) of Alburg was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. LaRose was arrested and transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.

 

At the conclusion of processing LaRose was released with a citation to appear before Franklin County Superior Court on June 26th, 2017 at 1300 hours to answer the charge of DUI #1.
