VICTIM: Two Juveniles (The Vermont State Police do not release the names of juvenile victims in cases of this nature)

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On May 14, 2017 at approximately 0300 hours the Vermont State Police responded to a report of vehicle that had gotten stuck in a culvert on VT Route 118 in Berkshire, VT.  The subsequent investigation yielded that the operator, 26 year-old Steven Rice of Lowell, VT, had operated his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Rice was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Albans Field Station for processing.  At the conclusion of the processing Rice was released with a citation to appear in Franklin County District Court on 05/30/2017 at 1:00pm to answer the charge of DUI.
