SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On May 16th 2017 at approximately 0117 hours, VSP Shaftsbury troopers observed a vehicle parked behind the Cumberland Farms convenience store on Northside Drive, with its engine running and lights off. Troopers observed the operator of the vehicle was slumped over in the driver’s seat. Troopers woke the operator up, who was then identified as Seth Kellner. Indicators of impairment were observed while speaking with Kellner.

 

During the course of the investigation, Kellner was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Bennington. Kellner was placed under arrest and transported to the Shaftsbury State Police barracks for processing. Kellner was transported to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility to be held on the warrant. Kellner was issued a citation to appear before the Bennington County Superior Court on June 5th 2017 at 1230 hours to answer to the charge of DUI #1.
